WHAT: The 8th Annual International Route 66 Mother Road Festival & Car Show
Over 1,000 cool cars and 80,000 spectators, hot music and free entertainment will roll into the heart of
Springfield’s historic downtown this September! This year’s festival welcomes the International Classic
Car Auction on Saturday and non‐stop music on two stages all weekend!
Event features include:
• Rt. 66 City Nights Cruise – kicks off at Capital City Shopping Center Parking Lot at 3095 S Dirksen Pkwy
(Friday, 6pm)
• International Classic Car Auction (Saturday Only)
• Feature cars by the RingBrothers
• Live Entertainment: Hot Rod Stage (6th & Washington) & The Lincoln Stage(5th & Monroe)
o Friday – “The Hit Men”
o Saturday – “Rewind,” “Groove Daddies,” “Strange Brew” & “Captain Rat & The Blind
Rivets”!
• Poker Race brought to you by Downtown Springfield, Inc. (Saturday, 10am – 4pm)
• Performance Marketplace for the restoration enthusiast
• Over 40 classes of car awards with certified national judging!
• Boys & Girls Club of Central IL Family Fun Zone / Children’s Area

September 21st for $35 plus a $3 handling fee. Registration includes weekend admission for the vehicle.
Register on site for $50 beginning on Thursday Sept. 24th 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm (Vine St. between 6th & 7th).

Did the guys tell you that I eat all the time? They make fun of me becuase by 9:30 in the morning I am starving. I LOVE to eat. It's starting to stick though - not good!
