Just thought I would post some update engine shots of my charger. Been a little while since any updates but, so far the new radiator is in, the duel fans, intercooler, and pluming. As soon as this is done, the overflow, catch can, and power steering resivior will be going on. This is just mock up and i am sure it is going to look cherry as hell once all welded up.
So by the time I get home in Nov, it will be ready to fire up. When that happens, I will posting vids of course, and pics of more updates.
So far it is comming together really well. I am so releived that Jason at gearhead garage is comming through in what I invisioned.
Nice, what year is your car? Also are you running a B or RB block?
It is a 68, and I am running a B block. I decided to stay with a B block, from it's uncanny abilty to rev like a small block, and still make good grunt down low.
I figure a D1SC at 13 psi, should give a little more bottom end.
When I first built it, it made 486hp on the engine dyno, running a little rich with their exh, and a factory style elec ignition. after it went in the car, i added a full MSD ignition, dialed in the carb, and better exh.
With the supercharger, I hope you to make over 600 to the wheels.
