I was told with conversion parts for hydraulic clutch, and everything else, it easily ends up around $4500 or more in parts.
Every trans shop I spoke with said I'd be paying a premium for the T-56, and that it might not be worth it. I can only think of one track in Socal I could possibly use the extra gearing, and its cal speedway. Entering turn 1 and 2 at around 140mph is plenty fast, especially when the car would be capable of 200mph with the TKO600...
Sure the 5th gear would be more usable on the track. But WHAT track?
