Modified First Gen Subframe and LS2
Am selling the Subframe and engine from my 69. The sub has been cut and modified for front steer rack and pinion, includes steering linkage up to column, tubular a arms, coil over shocks, large sway bar, disk brakes with braided hoses and lines attached. 12" drilled and slotted rotors (may sell matching rear brakes as well). lines attached. Rear rails have tabs welded on that bolt on to DSE subframe connectors. 2400.00 obo
Engine is a take out 400 HP LS2 from an '05 GTO that had 5500 miles on it. Now has about 8500 miles. Comes with complete accessory drive, wiring harness and control module with a custom diablosport tune. Comes with the diablosport tuner as well. Factory exhaust, custom "LS2" engine covers. 4900.00 obo
Would like to sell as a package, but may separate. Engine runs flawlessly and very strong, with a T56 and 4:10 rear, I have gotten 21 MPG, possibly more. this is a great opportunity for someone wanting a packaged engine/sub as it is all there, it fits, and it all works together. Located in south east Iowa. PM me or call 319-750-3323. Still in car, will be available in by end of week. Will try and post some pics in a couple of days.
Thanks, Bill

Thanks for the replies, I'm changing to a DSE sub and should have the GM sub out this evening. I'll try and post some pics tommorrow. I dont' know exactly who makes what on this sub. I purchased the car last summer already built. It seems the previous owner said something about BRP A-arms? so the rack may be the same. Hopefully you can tell by the pictures. The sub is in Mt. Pleasant Iowa, about 45 minutes south of interstate 80.

Removed engine and sub last night so I was able to take some pics (see attached.) Don't know whose A-arms these are, but the coilovers are QA1s, and brphotrods.com is stamped on the steering arm. Am going to keep calipers and hoses as they fit the DSE sub and will accept 13" rotors, so I'll let the 12" rotors will go with the sub, (shown in pic). I have to use a different crossmember, so I am also throwing in the LS crossmember shown in the pics. We found that this motor and accessory drive will fit the DSE sub even though we were told it wouldn't, so I may keep the engine unless someone steps up and wants the package.
Thanks,
Bill

Those look like BMR control arms. BRP was using them on their conversions.

Mind if I ask why your switching to the DSE sub? I know they are very well built, etc.
It just appears from your photos. That the modified stock sub your selling is in great shape already.
