I do not have any pics, but I thought I would share how I plan to solve the "convertible subwoofer" issue. As a convertible is an open vehicle, and the effectiveness of a subwoofer depends on an enclosed space, a convertible is a very poor platform for a trunk mounted sub. In my case, I plan on installing a shallow mount 8" or 10" subwoofer in a sealed enclosure mounted under the dash as a part of the front of my console. I may augment this with a pair of 10" subs mounted in the convertible brace between the rear seat and convertible top storage area. My convertible, by the way, is a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass (442).
Shiny Side Up!

I have a 68 convertible that is in the shop right now for the sound system install. I'm putting 2-10" subs in the trunk. The are making a shallow height box for the subs. The amp and audio/video controller will be mounted on the floor of the trunk. I'll send you some pic's when completed if you are interested. Supposed to be done later this week. I hope!
