Default My IROC's New Paint

Some of you may remember several months ago I was looking for a shop to have my car painted. I ended up going with a local shop/friend of mine. It took awhile (4.5 months). I finally got it back last week. I'm still working on a few things like adjusting the windows, electric locks, and other misc items. Something I thought noteworthy is that a 4th gen front bumper emblem will fit in the emblem cut out on a 3rd gen (see second picture). Let me know what ya'll think:

Nice freshening up!! Looks like it was worth the wait!! Is that the stock color...I can't remember from the pics you sent me long ago.

Those are fun cars! My dad has a very well kept '85 Z28 that I took for a spin last summer...good times!!

Nice ! I enjoy seeing third-gens in good shape. Too many get abused and give the rest of us the negative stereotype... Any further plans?

Thanks guys. Plans for now are just new wheels (C6 replicas when the money is replenished). I've already upgraded the brakes, engine/trans (LT1/4L60e), and front new seats. I still need to find a good used dash pad and will be dying the carpet black. I had previously planned to install sound deadener throughout, but that'll have to wait for now with a new baby coming inside the next 2-3 weeks. I ultimately want to do an LSx and newer 4L60E with a 12 bolt rear, but that'll be several years from now. The LT1 runs very well, so I won't be tearing into it any time soon other than to possibly install a hot cam or something comperable like a cc305.

The color is Red Jewel. I don't know if it's the same Red Jewel as the 2010 Camaro. If it's not, it's close.

Geoff, you mentioned replacing the dashpad...I get most of my parts from Hawk's Third Gen Parts, Bruce the owner, is great to deal with. Even if you are looking for used, you might check with them. What seats did you put in?
