Default Chevelle Seat Track Extenders...?

I've got an interested buyer in my 66 Chevelle but at 6' 11" he's not sure how well he will fit. I've heard of seat track extenders offering an additional 2 inches for F Body cars wasn't sure about A Body or if anyone knows of anyone who customizes seat mounts / brackets / seats frames etc... to accomodate really tall people. I'm hoping I can offer something up otherwise he may just have to search for a 66 Convertible.

Thanks in advance.

6'11"? That's tall! I'm 6'4". I got custom seat brackets from Jim at MotorSportSeats.com. They lowered my Sparcos and moved the mounts back. I can still move the seat back more. That should help with leg room. Seat to top still could be a problem at that height. I have a little room with the seat setup (enough for a helmet) and I have a long torso.

Depends on what he is comfortable with.

There is also the full custom route. Check out some of the builders here, with all that skill I bet they could work up a solution.

I saw your car on ebay, looks good.

You could always make a set of brakets to move the seats back. I recently did this on a bench seat. I cut and flipped the rear braces fowards, and welded an extention to the front brackets, that way I used the factory mounting holes.

It moved the seat back about 4", which is actually a little more then I needed, but good for the next guy that may be taller.

BTW, how much did you mini tub your car?
