Default What to buy next for my 68 Camaro

Im marking the next stage in my project. Im 95% sure my boat is sold, that frees up 17k. I havent started a build sheet yet. I just didnt want to get discouraged by it. So far I have bought
Morrison rear clip complete with rear end, gearing ect.
Modded create LS2
Computer and harness
Wheels/tires
Custom Sub frame
Shockwaves
Solid body mounts
I know the 17k isnt going to finish the car but I would like to get it on the ground rolling.
Seems like every time I go to buy a part the price changes. Like the T56 Magnum trans. Its been posted for 3k by a vendor and when I go to order the price changes to 5300.00. My point is its hard to gauge what the next round of parts will cost. So if some of you that have been through this could post thoughts it would be great!
Heres a want list so far
T56 Magnum kit
Z06 brakes with two piece rotors
LS drive kit with AC

i would get a tranny squared away with clutch/fly etc... Then you can get your motor all together, put it all in get your driveline made and have a finished drivetrain,. Then you can do all the brakes, and accessories for the front of the engine.. my .02

For the LS drive kit, I am in love with the Wegner set up and we are having a little Bull Run special on them. I can do the natural set up for $2000, Black is a few pennies more.

Obviously the $5300 for the transmission must have been a ready to go complete kit and not a basic kit they advertised. Those set ups can run five grand pretty easy with clutch, hydraulics, etc.

Tobin should be able to handle your Corvette brake package. I think it will be easy to get a hard number from him.

In your list of things you have got already, things I can think of right off you may want and have not mentioned. Popular items. Some of the bigger chunk $$$$$. Some round numbers for complete kits.

Radiator $900
Smoked Glass $750
Power Windows $750
Vintage Air $1100
Tilt Steering $400
Headers $800
Magnaflow Exhaust $500
Fuel System Budget $2000 for stainless tank / pump / filters / hose
Gauges $500 to $800?

Someday I will finish my check list

Call me later if you have questions

Thanks Frank for the list! After seeing it I started shopping for the best prices. Heres a couple I came up with
Aluminum Radiator 67 68 69 Camaro LS1 LS2 DUAL FANS
700.00
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Alumi...Q5fAccessories
Spectre tank with pump
500.00
Drive kit
2k to 2500.00
As for the trans Frank can you give me a list of parts needed? Would it be cheaper to buy the 3k unit and aftermarket parts separate?
Either way looks like Ill be ordering more parts from you Frank.

Why not Franks Radiator? I am just curious to hear both sides on pros/cons here is all ( I have seen post on pro-touring on that rad). Sounds like you might get a good dent put in your list with 17k buddy! Congrats on the sell
