Default Brodix "Sonnys" BB Dominator Intake & Carb

SOLD!!!!* Thanks Lateral-G

Anyone interested in a Brodix "Sonnys" Single Plane Dominator Intake(port matched) and Dominator Carb. package?* Very good condition and very well maintained.* This combination helped produce 760 hp 6100rpm and 755 tq 4700 rpm in my 540 bb Camaro on pump gas.* Going with smaller hood need to sell and step down to shorter dual plane and smaller 1000 cfm carb.* This 1050 Dom. (Stage 4 Race Gas) was professionally built for the for the street and strip by Wilson Competition in Memphis TN.* Idles perfect with AC on @ 700rpm and hold on at full throttle. If someone is looking to step up to a Dominator for your BB chevrolet pro-touring or drag car, this package is will be hard to beat.I will throw in a 1/2 inch spacer currently on this application and the current 4500 inlet Wilson set up.* All this new Retail cost me $1500--will sell for $850.You can call me @ 479-387-5659--i live in NW Arkansas.* Out of town a lot--best way to talk via the phone.

Wow, what a deal. I have a 496 that I was planning a victor jr and 1000hp for but this deal looks like something to consider. Might be a bit overkill for my motor though. If you could give me your opnion, would that be overkill on a 650 hp 496?

Not really knowing your current 496 application it would be tough for me give you a good safe answer. I would call Brodix or a reputable engine builder and ask them for sure--give them my info below. Here is my current 540 aplication.* This was not a radical 540 build and so i would think your 496 would totally enjoy the extra air and fuel.**** I run with* 10.4 compression with BB-2 Brodix Heads. The intake is a* Brodix part # 201-3 Sonnys Dominator* with matched port Intake. This 1050 HP Dominator Carb was professionally built by Wilson Competition Carbs in Memphis TN.* What they call a Stage 4 Gas Drag--jets 78/88.The cam .647 intake and same for exhaust with Duration @ .050 248 intake and 254 on exhaust.* The seperation is 112.Utilizing* a WinDyn Superflow Dyno (flywheel) --peak hp was 760.4 @ 6100.* and peak tq was at 755.1 @ 4700. Adding 1/2 spacer gave me and additonal 15 hp and also has done a good job of keeping heat from my fuel during cruises on hot summer days with my AC on.I idle in the summer with AC on around 700-800 rpm.* Hope this helps.* gb
