I think it looks great, I am currently in the middle of my build and I plan on shortening and welding mine to the body also...I just think it looks great when thre is minimal chrome and everything is painted body color...Is that your plan?

What other body modifications are you doing?...leaving front bumper off or doing the same as back?

im doing a bunch of mods
welded up all body seams
removed all emblems and side markers
removed trunk luck and door handle lock but keeping door handles
shaved drip rails and moulded a little detail close to edge.
flush mount glass
filled insteel cowl cover smooth and filled in recess area on back edge of the cowl hood
completly filled in front valance and adding marquez lights on the lower edgedes.
also flush mounted the back spoiler to deck lid.
im sure there is more but i can remeber it all/lol
the rear bumber brackets were modded so it would fit close but not actually welded on.it was cut apart and reshaped ect till we got the look we were happy with.it will be painted the car color.im not going to run a front bumper.thanks for looking everyone

Cool, many of the same mods I am doing/done to my 68. My interior is also getting massively worked over (custom dash, console, parcel tray, doors and hood liner)

Love your work !

clux that comment from you and the quality of the car you are building means alot to me.we have the same tastes no doubt.i wish i had done my dash like yours.im still exploring options on it.i like the subtle smooth look.your metal headliner is insane.how long till you are going to be drivable?im thinking by the middle to the end of next summer for me.my paint will be done by the end of this summer.its just gonna take time getting the interior guy to fit me in and do the job i really want.its really turning into a money issue

Looks good! Nice tight fit. Have you decided on a color/paint scheme?

I think it looks great. Did you have the chrome stripped off before you started?
