Default Ebay feedback rant

I know it's petty, but it still pisses me off. I've lost almost 50 feedbacks as a buyer on Ebay. I'm the guy who pays usually within minutes when I win an auction, and never more than 24 hours. I leave positive feedback when the item is received, and of course the seller withholds his until he sees what I do (I don't do that as a seller, once the buyer pays me he's done his job and gets positive feedback).

But I keep getting screwed on receiving my feedback from sellers. I leave it, usually send a message through Ebay or an e-mail that I received the item, thanking them, and left feed back, and they can't take two seconds to return the favor. And it's worse with sellers that have more feedback. Makes no sense why it even bothers me, but I hate to do a transaction and not get the benefit of it from the seller. And it happens so often, like once every five or six transactions.

I know, what friggin difference does it even make, especially with the economy and other major problems happening right now, but it still bugs the crap out of me......................... I think from now on, even as a buyer, I'm not giving any until I get some..............

ebay has changed alot since it was introduced. I have purchased a few things since about 2000, and it isn't as friendly as it once was.

I don't blame you man, eBay has really put a nasty taste in my mouth since they got rid of the negative feedback option. I rarely go there anymore.

I hear you!!! I am getting pretty frustrated with e-bay too...I am a long time buyer and seller (powerseller)....over 8-9 years...I have seen prices/fees steady climb, and customer service go to crap...and now that they have monopolized it by MAKING us us paypal its even worse!!! There is a new site called onlineauction.com, check it out! It was started by a bunch of powersellers from e-bay who got tired of all the crap...They are pretty new but I have joined (FREE) and bought a couple of small items...You can sell items for a fee of $8 a month with unlimited sales, no listing fees, no final value fees, and no other hidden fees...and you can chose from many options to get paid!....Check it out everyone, mabye one day they can put a hurtng on the theives at e-bay!!!

The fact that the only thing a buyer has to really go by as far as the seller they are thinking of buying from is their feedback, you would think that E-bay wouldn't have F'ed with it but now they've screwed it all up with the "no negative" feedback rule!

I hear ya on lazy buyers. I've sold a few things on ebay so my trans count is low but it would be nice for them to leave positive feedback. It takes, what, a minute to do?

I still have left negative feedback. You have to mark it as positive, but if you take time to read the feedback comments I made my true feelings known.
