slimming down project threads

I know that everyone likes to get praise for the hard work but is it a bad idea to look at some of the older threads and delete some of the comments if they are just "nice work" "Looks good" "Any updates" Nothing that take away from the thread, or has a question. I Think that it would shorten some of the thread greatly, sometime there is a whole page of just looks good.

If this is something that you dont think people will take the wrong way I would volunteer if you need any help as well.

It may not matter at all, but just an idea...
