Default Is this stronger/ better than stock?

This mod is claimed to have increased strength and rigidity on a stock subframe. What do you guys think about this? I was thinking about doing this to my subframe if it is better than stock.

its definately not more rigid to remove the center box section... the front brace part is ok...

yes to part.. big no the the removal of the center... many drag guys do it to save weight though, so you will see it done on a fair deal of cars...

What deuce_454 said. Imagine the driver's side front wheel hitting a large bump - all I see is twist and flex in that subframe. It's lighter I guess, but stonger? No way.

Seems like alot of work to make an ugly frame uglier. No way...leave it stock.
