- Fully synchronized including reverse, Muncie has no reverse synchronization.

- Same weight as Tremec TKO

- Low profile main case design fits many cars as well as Muncie, IN THAT AREA. Fits better than TKO IN THAT AREA ONLY.

- Not as broad as TKO due to single rail shift design but still broader than the Muncie.

- Much larger gears than the T5 equalling much greater strength. DO NOT CONFUSE T45RS WITH T5, THEY ARE GREATLY DIFFERENT.

- T45RS shares the same synchro parts as its big brother T56 6 speed for superior shift quality.

The Keisler T45RS has proven to be a robust and reliable 5 speed overdrive transmission. It is an excellent lower cost option to the TKO for those who do not require the TKOs strength or are working on a lower budget.

The T45RS is an excellent tranny for street rod applications as well. We can move the shifter forward for bench seat clearance. The kit pictured is the 350 ft. lb. version, the 425 ft. lb. version is available and comes with a stronger 26 spline input shaft. We can put these behind a GM, Ford or Mopar engine. Are there other gearing options for these? I have an older Tremec 3550 in my Mustang, which has a 3.27 1st gear. It is really low, even with my 3.55 R&P.

I would love something in the 2.95 range for 1st, but I don't want the T5.

Eventually we may look into offering another gearset but right now they will be eqipped as follows: 3.37 1st 1.99 2nd 1.33 3rd 1.0 4th and .67 5th o/d.
