Usually the tech representatives from companies like B&M, Magnusson, etc. are pretty helpful. Try contacting the company you want to buy from with your questions. They'll probably be glad to help and have a ton of technical information.

I can't address your clearance issues, but here is a 142 I put on my Blazer. It has 8.5 CR, mild blower cam. I have two pulleys, one for 5.5 psi, the other for 7.2. The carb is a Holley 800DP, modified for a boost referenced power valve. Jetted 2 sizes larger and confirmed good A/F with an Innovate Wideband O2 sensor. I run 93 octane gas and have not had a detonation problem yet. The torque is excellent. The hp dies right at 5200 rpm and the boost goes crazy since the heads are stock and they are at their airflow limit at that point. Completely maintenance free. Oh yeah, this vehicle has both a v-belt AND serpentine. Just order which blower snout fits your needs. 6500 - shortest, 6504-longest.

thank guy's for your help, i keep changing my mind on how i want to build this car.i see something new and plans go out the window. i definitely like the cost of a 144 supercharger and maybe a retroteck projection 3 fuel injection system. would have old school look but a little updated.......thanks again what do you think of a set up like this i have not seen anyone use this combo.i think id rather go with a dedicated fuel injected supercharger like the magnacharger......... Anthony
