Default 1969 Hemi Road Runner survivor w/46K miles; sell/trade.

I'm listing this for my friend Jim Gale. He is a stand up guy and has an excellent reputation in the car community.

Price on a cash deal is $82,500. Also very interested in taking back a Viper in a partial trade plus a minimum of $47,500 in cash. Will consider a very clean '99 and up Viper with under 30,000 miles.

Here's a link to send Jim an email.

1969 Plymouth Road Runner “Survivor” 426 Hemi, Torqueflite Automatic Transmission and 8-3/4” SureGrip rear axle. This 1969 Hemi Road Runner is one of the most original and well documented Hemi cars left. Desirable hardtop model with column shifted bench interior. Original 426 Dual Quad 425 hp Hemi. Car is completely untouched and has never been restored other than a high quality repaint of the original T5 Bronze Fire Metallic paint over the original sheet metal. Options on the build sheet include: Light Package, Vinyl Roof (Beige), N96 air grabber fresh air hood, power front disc brakes, two-speaker AM radio, deluxe two-tone interior, red-line tires, (which are mounted on the original and correctly dated “Hemi only” steel wheels – including the spare). Very rare color combo. Car has won numerous trophies on both coasts. Purchased from the original west coast owner, it is a true 2 owner car. Included with the car is a file of extensive and detailed paperwork including the factory order sheet. The fender tag and build sheet are still with the vehicle. The odometer is showing a legitimate 46,XXX miles, and as previously stated, it has retained its original body panels. It has never been cut, tubbed or raced. The factory Carter carbs that were put on this car on the assembly line still retain their aluminum tags. The 8-3/4” SureGrip rear is running a very streetable 3:55 gear set. The engine and transmission have never been taken out of the car or taken apart.

Wink

Please hold this car until Sunday.

If I win the Powerball lottery on Saturday night, I will be in touch on Sunday!

Very nice and very cool car. Good luck with the sale.

Randy

-- When I was 14-15 (1986ish), a neighbor had a '68 or 69 GTX Hemi that they were selling for $5k. I tried my darndest to get my Dad to loan me some money but he thought that was way too much for an old car. This was a nice running, original, driver!

The first person that looked at the car stole it (literally!) and never returned from the test drive. The car was never found and I've had a soft spot for B-body's ever since.

I know the feeling. I pleaded with my Dad for him to buy a '69 Hurst Olds back in 1969 for the $4K they were going for, since I was too young to drive it.

Glad you like Jim's plain, bad Hemi.

I thought all hemi cars came with Dana's? That car is gorgous. You can definately tell the 60's by the colors they used to put on cars.
