Default Fatty patty 2.3 - 69 stang

Ok I'll get right to the point the same mustang that just a few months ago was set to be one of the baddest pro street cars on the planet has now set her sight deep into pro-touring. I am slowly getting back into the swing of things. I have had to completly toss out the old parts list and build a new, Also a lot of extra work will be going into the body.

The paint will be the same a black and silver two tone.

The motor instead of a twin turbo big block aimed at 2150 hp, I will be shooting for around 700 out of a small block as far as power adders you never know. I do know I want this motor to turn some RPM, no more 6000 shifting I would like to turn over 7000 if not more.

the same dual frame chassis, like john's (novanutcase) 66 nova, and the bruning auto challenger. with an art morrison 3 link (just the housing) in the rear and the front I am still a little iffy on whats going in there maybe C6, maybe mustang II I don't know. (What do you guy's think?)

as far a body "mods" I honestly can't make a list because so far everything done has been a spur of the moment kinda thing.

And thats about it lots of rough fabrication and the horrors that where hiding under the half inch of bondo, by the way all the brass and crap on the fender is not my work. I found that after I cut the fender, I am hoping it is "patchable" so I don't have to cut 7/8's out of two new fenders. (the other fender is getting canned)

Umm let me see.... OHH the car is on jack stands and this is the ride height I am shooting for once the new rockers are built and the bottoms of the fender are extended the rockers will sit 6 inches in the front and I think the back was 7 so it is plenty low.

Now on to the pictures.

I wanna see somebody put the gt500kr front end from the new mustang on an old one... just think it would be a sweet body mod... Have you thought about flush mounting the glass? oh and I am gonna have to say go with the c6 stuff up front... good luck!

Thanks for the compliments!

My dad has talked about doing the 500KR front end. The obsidian SG1 has it and it looks good... but to me it makes it look kinda body "kit-ish". I think you will really like what I plan to do to the front.

And I think as of right now with the aftermarket support towards the C6 I will be using C6.

Well I got around to working on the car the past two days I am working on the front end, and I am a bit stuck on the front splitter/chin spoiler.

In some of the pictures you will see a profile along with a arrow and a number please when you reply please post a the number of profile you like best.

Please pick a number here, they are not 100% perfect just rough sketched but you get the point.

I finally have a small update. I ordered the passenger side quarter, I will get it fitted and gapped all this week then I will pull it off to do some stuff to the inner shell. Then I will weld it up and move on.
