Default Any Pilots on this board?

Are there any lateral-g memebrs that are also licensed pilots?
After 7 months of training, studying and time off for medical junk, I finally have my private pilot license.

There's nothing like getting air born just after sunrise and cruising over the high sierras or pacific ocean. Passed the test on 3/28 and have flow everyday after work since. Actually,
This is a picture of the plane I fly and in current negotiation to purchase.

Curtis from Vegas is a pilot.

Hopefully in the fall I'm going to ground school...

Used to fly, was taking lessons but got to expensive and had to quit. Beautiful Cirrus, like the side stick. Whole lot different than the 172 Skyhawk That I used to fly! It was still a great and forgiving plane though.

I used to fly Apaches and just recently transitioned to C-12s (Beech King Air). Looks like a nice little plane. Time to start studying for your IFR ticket. Congrats and enjoy!

Congratulations Rich. Nothing better than a flight on a crisp clear afternoon. That Cirrus has a sweet set up! Nothing like the C-152 I got my ticket in. I have to admit I've missed flying every day since the carrier I worked for went under. I could use a little stick time!!

va72mlibu said it right...it's time to start working on your Instrument rating. I suggest you go for it now before to much time passes. It will make you a much better pilot and a much safer pilot.

va72mlibu...How do you like the C-12. I've got some B-200 (King Air) time. Great airplane and a joy to fly. I take it your spent some time at Ft. Rucker (sp) for your training. Where are you based? I've got a buddy in SLC who flys the C-12.

Final turn, gear down, three green!

Thought I would post a picture of the last airplane I flew, the Boeing 757.

Here's the coolest airplane I've ever flown.

Good times!

I have been flying for 20 years and had my ticket for the last 12. Congrats on joining the club, we are a rare breed.

Here is a pic of my last flyable airplane which I sold 2 years ago after rebuilding it and owning it for 15 years. I still have 4 more projects if I can ever find time to build them.

Sweet looking planes!

The Cirrus is a real pleasure to fly and next to the new Corvalis, it's the fastest GA fixed wing aircraft around.
I signed up to use PIC for my IFR training, I called them 2 hours after getting my ticket.
The 10 day IFR course starts 8/5/09.

It is a 1941 Taylorcraft BC-12-65. Aeronca sedan is a little bigger and a 4 place.
