Thumbs up Paddle Shifted A-41 Automatic Driving Video, Price, Availability

Hi Folks,

Last year, we debuted two new options for our A-41 line of automatic overdrive transmissions: Engine Braking and Paddle Shifting. These features take the 4L60/65/70E family of transmission to a new level. Whether you do autocrossing, street/strip or just all around fun, this product technology will add to your driving performance and satisfaction.

We have Part 1 - Cruise Mode - of the Driving video live on YouTube. It's a short 2min30 sec overview of our automatic transmission, the A-41 which is a derivative of the 4L60/65/70E Hydramatic family. It has in-car video of the product and covers the technical aspects of the product and how to drive with the Paddle Shifter.

Driving Video Part 2 - Paddle Shift Mode goes into function of the paddle shifter display, up & down paddle function, computer safety function, etc.

PRICING:
Complete kits are $2999 & up
Engine Braking is $200 option
Paddle Shift is $699 option
Dual Mode Switch and TransView Software is $99 option, but included with all orders for FREE

AVAILABILITY:
In stock now for all GM and Mopar muscle cars, Corvette, street rod, truck with small and big block engines, including LS and HEMI gen 2&3

SPECIAL OFFER:
Purchase any A-41 Automatic kit and the Paddle Shift option, and get the Engine Braking option for FREE ($200 value).

Please post your comments or questions here. Especially, I'd like to know what other information you would like to see in the videos or otherwise.

Enjoy!

I think without the paddle shifting part the video is pretty pointless to watch, all that info can be put in with the paddle shifting. You dont have to drive the car to show that the paddles turn with the wheel. It would be better if you picked a place without the sun shining into the camera and just turned the wheel, the car does not have to be moving for that.

I am also not a fan of multi part vids, I watched one of you other multi part vids and never watched the 2nd one because the first one was pointless to the story, same as this one, at least to me.

JamesJ,

Thanks for commenting. While I don't agree with your point of view, the purpose of the multipart video is to keep the length short while not cramming too much information into one video. As it stands, the total length of the two videos is 9min - that 2m30s for Part 1, and 6m30s for Part 2.

We try to make the videos appeal to a wide range of enthusiasts - both novice and expert level. Based on the questions we get on the automatic, we decided to add more content and err on the safe side.

As for the other multipart video - the Tri5 5-speed - part 2 was of completely different content - it was the driving video and not the product & install overview video part 1. Perhaps you missed the point.

Default Part 2 Driving Video Live

Hi Folks,

Part 2 - Paddle Shifting in Manual Mode is live. Check it out and let us know what you think. (You don't have to like it, and that's ok too! )
