Default paint stripper question.

does aircraft paint stripper eat through bondo as well?

Yes, Aircraft stripper will eat of thin layers of bondo and will eat into thick bondo. But once you get to bondo, stop and sand it off or your just wasting stripper.

If you plan on keeping the plastic filler dont let any chemical stripper touch it. If you do you should sand it off and fix the metal or reapply new filler. Body filler will absorb chemical paint remover and it will be under your paint job just to come up later. JR
