Sorry to hear that......I remember using one of their cams back in the early eighties. It was called the Crane "Fireball" cam and it worked pretty well too.
From industry insiders, Crane's parent company (Mikronite) is in the process of being bought out by some Middle Eastern investors... however a snag has appeared in the bank paperwork which means that operations have ceased as the status of the company ownership is in limbo. Until that clears Crane is effectively closed, and even if/when the buyout does go through for Mikronite, Crane's future is still somewhat unclear.
There are also a lot of rumors floating around that Autotronic Controls (parent of MSD) isn't doing so hot either.

It is a scary time for everyone right now. Banks are not doing well and car dealerships are closing & the housing market is all screwed up (and probably will be for some time).
