Default 15%-20% off all steering columns in stock!!

Okay, to go with our pricing on rack & pinion conversions and our ifs components, I'd like to offer 15% off on all Ididit columns in stock. Order now before March first and receive and additional 5% off!!

There are a lot of options whether it be a retro fit or a universal, factory steering, 605 box, or rack. floor shift, or column shift. Even factory or aftermarket wiring.

Let me know what you have and I'll quote you a price!!

Number here is (800) 273-5195 or (805) 485-0382

605 Box: When using a 605 box, a rag joint is required. The rag joint has two functions. One, as a coupler between the lower shaft of the column and the input shaft of the gearbox. And two, as a vibration reducer to help isolate pulsations commonly felt from the power steering pump. *Note: If using a Mullins Box, sector shaft may be 18mm DD

Original Harness: Installation kits for vehicles with a factory original harness will include a 4-way flasher kit. This 4-way flasher kit will add the safety of a 4-way flasher, as well as adapt your original wiring harness to the 3 7/8” plug found on your ididit column.

The '55 Chevy, 605 Style Box, Original Wiring Kit Includes:
Rag Joint, Floor Mount and a 4-Way Flasher Kit
(Installation Kits are sold separately)

Standard Features :
Self-Canceling Turn Signals
4-Way Flashers
Knobs and Handles
3 7/8" Wiring Plug
3/4" 36 Lower Shaft
Available Finishes: Paintable Steel, Chrome Plated Steel, Black Powder Coat, Brushed Aluminum, Polished Aluminum

Note: A stock Ford wheel will not bolt to the top of an ididit column.
An aftermarket wheel is required.

Add the convenience and reliability of a new column built specific for your classic Mustang. This steering column is not a universal column. Simply remove your old column, saving your original under-dash mount as well as the original floor mount. Using one of our installation kits (see table below), install your new steering column in place of the old. Add an aftermarket wheel and the gripping surface of the new wheel will be in the same location as the original.

A stock Ford wheel will not bolt on the top of an ididit steering column.

1964-66: Your original column has a solid shaft from inside the gearbox to the steering wheel. This shaft will need to be modified. A new coupler will need to be put in place between the modified shaft and the column.
Turn Signal Wiring: Your ididit column will come complete with a 3 7/8” GM plug. The female side to the plug is also included with your column. Simply crimp the clips to the end of each wire from your vehicle. Using the schematic provided match the function of the wires to those on the car.
Horn Wiring: Ford horn systems use two wires and 12 volts of power to control the horn function. ididit uses a ground type system through a relay. A relay is provided with your kit to successfully complete the conversion from the Ford system to the ididit system.

79 Camaro..... Well they do not list a retro column for that year, but I have installed a universal in that similar year Camaro and it works great. Do you want/need the ignition on the column? Here's a few of the prices for floor shift models.
