Default Trunk Hinge Support Modifications for DSE Tubs

Does anyone have any pictures of the modifications needed for the trunk hinge supports when installing the DSE tubs? It appears that they need to be cut and shortened, then rewelded. Just looking for the best way to approach it.

Measure trunk to deck distance or better yet tack weld a support before removing originals. Drill out spot welds , test fit , and just weld up or you can cut off uneeded height of bracket before welding. Pretty straight forward

I forgot...pretty self explanatory..but...the tabs of the lower bracket will need to be tweaked abit due to the new tubs shape. I used sheet metal screws to hold bracket down tight to tub for welding.

Checkout this thread over at PT on my mini-tub experience:

Basically I just cut the tops off until they were short enough, bent them a bit and spot welded them back on. Just keep test fitting them until the fit pretty snug.
