Road race/street 2nd gen Camaros?

Is there anyone out there who has a 2nd generation Camaro that they race and can drive on the street? What worked well for you? Any advise you could give would be great.
Here's the background. I finished my 73 Camaro and did some trick suspension stuff to it. Thank You Marcus at SC&C! It handles, drives, steering, etc Awesome. I am very pleased to say the least. Unfortunately it turned out too nice for me to take to open track days and beat on. Now I have a 1972 Camaro sitting in the garage and I plan to build a low budget roadrace/street car that I can beat on. The rear suspension will be Watt's link with coilovers and minitubbed. Beyond that, I have an open slate. It has a 6 point rollcage already and will probably get a SBC with a T5. I'm open to suggestions and any conversion stuff. I see this as another learning experience for me.

I'm building one myself, but I'm not done yet so I can't comment on how it will work... I did also get my handling and brake products through Mark at SC&C. I'm doing a little mock up right now of the brake spindle a-arms I have, just waiting on a couple more items so I can finish any fabbing and put some paint on the frame.

Its a 72 with flares to widen the stance, Baer 6s calipers on the front, afx spindles (c5 hubs), spc a-arms, full tube frame with the only stock piece left being the part that holds the front a-arms and control arms. The motor is a 581ci big block with an F2 procharger, Bell intercooler custom headers, etc. Two kirkey road race seats on the inside, willwood brake pedal and a roller throttle pedal. The back has a 4 link with coil overs, nine inch rear. I still have lots of work to do but at least its over half way. In this pic its sitting way too high with the drag race tires on it before I started the front suspension work. I also might be doing something about the current engine height. And when its all done some fresh paint.

First of all, you have a great 73. I've always wondered how the ATS spindle would work on a 2nd gen. I'm working on doing a budget build with my 73 as well, but I'm still in the planning stage. Funny how having no money makes that stage very long sometimes.

For info, I would look for any info you can find on Mary Pozzi's 2nd gen. Everything is pretty much bolt on, and she works the autocross and road course with it. Dave knows his stuff too. It's inspiration for me.
