We made Top 25 for 2008 in Vintage Air sales and did 95% of it with Camaro A/C systems. thats a lot of systems.

Gen IV period. The Gen 2 was back in the day a electronic control solution before the Gen IV came out. The GEN 2 is not a Camaro kit but is a universal kit and must use a different control. tThe Gen IV fits your car, uses your control, is bigger and badder and less money.

That should do it.

Why did VA go from a Gen 2 to a Gen 4? Where's gen 3? Just curious.

Is the gen 4 available in pieces? I am looking for the evap/heatercore portion. I have the rest of the a/c system. Can you give me a ballpark of cost.
Thanks,
Kory

I'd get the gen 4. I have the sure fit & i am not impressed by the quality. I saw a gen 4 and it looks like a benz compared to the pinto-like sure fit that i have. I will be using a gen 4 in my current 69 project, but i have not actually used one as of yet. Frank, if youre still on, i have no heat on my sure fit. Any ideas on things to check? This was my first install & I may have reversed the hoses or am using the wrong vacuum source for the control valve.
