well for some unknown reason i have been overly slammed with harleys to paint all summer long, i can count the hours spent on the truck project on one hand. its really depressing being too busy makin money...to spend any time on the project...i bet a lot of us can relate.
well i moved the truck from the garage to the big shop to finish up the fab work and attempt to get it done... back in april/may (may till sept is usually my dead time of year) well after staying busy with "work" the truck got moved further and further back into the shop...finally resting in the very back corner burried under empty boxes from harley sheetmetal.
i finally couldnt stand it anymore and moved the truck back to the lil garage sittin next to the mustang project... it was nice that i was able to push it this time..as the only real progress made was finishing up the revised front suspension. i guess the pushing got me re-motivated to get somethin accomplished... so i have been busy fabbing up the int tin, got the chop finalized, one door is sitting on the hinges(had to know where the floor needed to be).... seats are mocked ready for mounts to be engineered. been looking through parts listings and talkin to the motor guy about the powerplant (340" SB2.2 is the final decision...i think)... so i have made more progress since yesterday than i had in the last 4 months..... all with having to walk back and forth between the big shop and garage for tools and materials.
so MAYBE i will get some updated pics for everybody to look at...cuz everybody here loves car porn
