which end, carb or trans? Is this a remove and replace on a car that has an existing cable? What carb?

You just mount it and then connect the cable to the carb linkage. There's no adjustments if you're using a factory carb, linkages, and brackets. What car are you working on?

did you just purchase this car? It sounds as if something is missing. If you click on the google link you can see that there's a bracket on the intake that can hold the kickdown cable. However, Holley and Edelbrock both make brackets that mount of one of the carb stud that allow you to mount the kick down. What carb do you have? Or better yet, any luck getting it figured out?
