Default 505hp Solstice

Frieburger over at Hot Rod magazine said they're stuffing an LS7 in a Pontiac Solstice. That thing will be an animal. I wonder what it will weigh?

Isn't that thing rear wheel drive? I thought was a relatively small car that came with an ecotec. The fenders will probably have "extra" bulges to put that motor in. Ha Ha Ha.

For 18K and your Solstice, Mallett Cars will put a 400hp LS2 with a 6 speed and upgraded suspension.....sounds like a deal and a half for 40K total....of course, if 400 hp in a car that small isn't enough, a blower, or turbos, your choice, are optional.....

Now, if they'll just start delivering them en-masse. This waiting crap sucks (says he who will not pay for somebody else's contract).

I'm going to turbo the Ecotec after we get ours- I already have new rods & a head to mod. ...if I could just get the damn car here...

I'd be real interested to see how they pull that off. Not a lot of room under that hood, I know...I've driven the Solstice a few times already. It's a terrific little car. Handles like a Corvette and the drivetrain is quite responsive for what it is. An LS7 in that little of a car would be quite intimidating. They're going to offer a supercharger for the Ecotech motor in that car next year along with the Saturn Sky. That should be plenty of kick for that little roadster.

Also, GM is kicking around the idea of a doing a........(oops, that's proprietary information). Nevermind.
