DYNAMAT extreme 1 car kit and 2 door kits, not the cheapest stuff but the best from what I've seen. What I really like about it is that even when it's cold outside, it's still pliable, which means it's still working. Dynamat is not equal to roof shingles, water heater insulation, stuff at walmart, rubber mat, anything from the roofing section at Home Depot, anything at Pep Boys, jute padding, old t shirts, newspaper, undercoating from a can, bedliner, or any other short cut. You do this before you carpet, before running speaker wires but after mounting the seats and console. install after so you can dynamat around the mounts. Also, get yourself a wood roller or something like it. Smash that stuff in all the crevices and ruts in the floorboards. If you simply pat it down it's not doing it's job because it's not installed correctly. Every inch of that stuff needs to make contact with whatever you are covering. Otherwise you have wasted money. Good news is you can always go back and smash it in further, but a waste of time since you have to pull carpet and seats. Also, on the seams where the sticky backing is exposed, use the aluminum tape over it so you don't get that stuff on the knees of your pants.
