Default Stock 69 Camaro axle width??????

Does anybody know the stock width for a 69 Camaro axle????

I'm having to get my modified axle cut down to STOCK width...but am not sure what that is.

Also - is that measurement to the axle face to rotor - or is it including the rotor?????

THANKS!

I believe mine was 59.50 flange to flange, 10bolt open carrier.

[edit] Same as my new 12 bolt Moser at stock width.

Cool....the cobb webs are falling off now and I am remembering what/why we did what we did when we set up the long 9" ...

Yes, I believe mine was 60" (drum brake) - and I had built 2 3/4" wooden test spacers to mount the rear C5 rims to the car.

Since the LS1 rotors are about 1/4" thick at the hub, we cut the 9" at 55" hub to hub - making it 55.5 overall with the discs on....

Okay...this makes me feel better now. I don't have a stock axle to compare and I dropped the 9" at the speedshop yesterday to put it to a stock width - which will be 60" in this case when he takes 2.5" off each side.

Make sense?

THANKS!
