Default Could I get you guys to help me for A minute???????

I sent a gauge cluster to be retrofitted with modern internals 3 plus months ago. I sent the gauge cluster when we started final assembly. Well I have had the car togther for 1 month and I cannot get the cluster back. It would not be a big deal if it was a regular cluster but who has a 54 dodge stock cluster and Old Stewart Warner tach just laying around to Buy. I have spoken with his secratary who works on mondays, she says he has been busy filming a TV show at West Coast Customs and will finish when He gets done with that. Well when I sent him the cluster he said 1 week, Well Obviously it has been 3 plus months and I was supposed to have delivered the car for Thanksgiving. I have called at least 20 times this week alone with not a return call in Weeks. I'm going to call the Local Sheriff in Fresno on Monday. And the Customer is going have his attorney start Proceedings next week, but those all take time and Cost even more money.

So to make a long story short I would like as many people as possible to email this guy and tell him to either Do the job or just send it back to me. Maybe this will show him that The internet is a powerful and customer service and following through with your word. Can you image what 250 emails would look like in his inbox from 250 different people? The lateral-g brotherhood

His email is Removed to end mass emails

You could copy and paste this

Ironworks would like there gauge cluster either finished or returned.
Ironworks Phone number is 661 399 8999

Thanks

I should have sent the cluster to the guy who said it will take 4 months instead of the guy who said one week but took 3 plus months now.

Thanks guys.

You should call up West Coast Customs and ask for him. Start bothering him at their place of business

I have thought about that but 275lbs of 6'6" never seems like a nice friendly reminder, Plus it is 2 hours to drive to find him not there. I was there yesterday with my 48ft trailer in tow, but that is not the rig for trying circle a neighborhood. We will see what the email does. If his secratary answers on Monday I may just drive up there and go by with a Sheriff. The customer is absolutely furious. We had the 241 Hemi Rebuilt in Fresno and it took them close to 5 months to Rebuild it.

Thanks guys I will et you know how it turns out.

I just want it back, Done or not, We will be doing all gauge clusters in house from now on. My wiring and plumbing guy, is fed up with them and wants to start his own custom clusters and take out the outside vendor.

Hello,

I understand that you have been “working” on a ’54 Dodge cluster for the last three months and that you promised that it would be done in one week. If so then that is just wrong and very inconsiderate of other peoples need to conduct business. I’m sure you would be upset if a company you hired to do something was putting you off on a project you needed to get done for a customer.

The internet is a powerful thing and this story is spreading around. I imagine that other magazines are reading the story and figuring out what shops are unreliable for use in future editorial. I would also think it’s in your own best interest to resolve this quickly. A bad reputation is hard to get rid of.
