Titanium would be a poor choice for a gear as it has rather poor frictional wear properties and is very prone to galling.
As a structural material, either statically or dynamically loaded titanium is great but it should be avoided in any application where it is a frictional wear surface (i.e. things sliding on it, pivoting on it, etc.) because of its tendency to gall.
You mentioned the G-Force T56, which is a *stout* tranny, and you want something tougher than those specs? Geez, what's your goal and application? Stock TKO's have lived behind 900+ ft/lbs of torque given proper treatment (i.e. no 8000rpm clutch dumps on slicks.) Shock loading is the biggest killer of trannies.
If you want stronger still consider a Liberty clutchless 5-speed used in Pro-Stockers. The shafts are gundrilled to save weight and it's available with magnesium case halves to save more weight. Not so good around town though as you can't really downshift one without coming to a stop... and be prepared to fork over quite a bit of money for one; they have one rated to 3000hp in a 3600lb vehicle but it'll run you $8000.
