If you're speaking of a 1st gen swap, that pan is one of the most popular swap items right now. It does hang down a little lower than the F-body pan, but not by much.

Hey Mike, the valve covers match the interior in my Formula

Like said above, the pan will hang a little lower than the subframe if you are using conventional mounting plates. This is the pan that BRP sells for use with his kits.

Does it need to be modified to fit a first gen camaro similar to the f-body pan?

Reckley,

No, not if it's the same one that BRP is selling.

Thanks much.

I checked out BRP and it looks like they include windage tray as well. Is the windage tray GM's or is it something BRP makes?

Not sure on the f-body windage. Some have suggested it would, but for less than $20 you can get the windage made for that pan, GM P/N: 12611129
