Default Any luck ordering from ATS??

I've been trying to order an LS7 w/ dry sump system & long tube headers from ATS for 2-3 weeks now- no effective response on pricing/availability. Does it need to be this hard to spend my money? Anyone else have any love on supplying the aforementioned parts? Ready to spend $15-20k but can't get any assistance.....very frustrated. Don't mean to be a pest, nor a complainer.....Any help would be appreciated, Tyler?

I've called and spoken to them a number of times over the past 2 weeks. Sounded like they were busy catching up on a spindle backorder that had finaly arrived- I totally understand, just want to order some parts for my customer so that I don't have to look/feel bad.....

i was over there on friday and he said the last part they need to get all the spindle done and out would be there the begining of the week but for the most part they were all assembeled, there was a ton of them sitting on the assembly table just for all the back order
i would just call him tomorrow and check up on the pricing/availibility sisnce hes more caught up, dont think its being a pest when your trying to spend that kind of dough plus your not calling him about the spindles.lol

I too was in the shop a few days ago and Tyler actually put me to work shipping out orders. Everyone here knows Tyler and that he does what he says. If you've talked to him on the phone then you know whats up and there's no reason to call him out here on L-g.

I have ordered stuff from them and customer service was 1st class.

With that said, in this economy there are plenty of shops that would go out of their way for that kind of purchase. I think you have your own answer. Sorry but bad service when placing an order is never a good sign. Not into excuses it isn't personal it is business but it's your money.

I'll try to give Tyler another call here today & see what the latest is. No need to be defensive here, not trying to "call anyone out" on the site. I just know that many of you guys have insight and/or contact with one another here. This is the best way for me to get the straight story and to gather info- after all, that's part of what Lateral-G is here for right? We all know how building projects can be and how hard & long it can take to get things/parts in your hands.

There is nothing wrong with calling someone out. Has he not sent the stuff???

They are a small shop, that’s one of the problems with the Internet and groups like this. They can not handle it if they get a huge rush, they don’t manufacture that stuff, and the stuff they do takes time and like I said before they can only make so many in a given time. They also cant afford to have huge a inventory op product, but that just business.

I would order stuff from him, but I would not expect the same response, quickness, organization, as if I ordered from a company that has a guy that just does orders.

Actually that is one the reason these forums exist and we have supporting vendors. Small wake up call is sometimes needed to get things moving. I have ordered parts allso from ATS and i really liked the products. But cant say same of the delivery time. As good guys the Taylor and Chicane are its the customers who comes first.

I think we got him taken care of. I kept sending him an estimate through our newly upgraded quickbooks, but it wouldn't go through. I finally just did it manually through my Gmail and he got our estimate.

We are busy, but not so busy that we can't talk with someone about any size order be it $80 or $8000.

Tyler
