Thumbs up What do you think?

Hey guys/gals.
I came across this car 4 months ago and it caught my eye just sitting there on the lot. So, me & the fiance pull in to check it out. They are asking 38,000 @ that time and I asked if it was a numbers matching car and it is not. I was turned off right away by the asking price. Now, they have lowered their price to 29,777 and I am interested again. I am not crazy about the auto trans, especially on the steering column & the bench seats. But, for the right price, I am willing to bend. They say the car went through a COMPLETE restoration.
I have a 'mint 99 HO SS with all the options, except traction control to put down as payment and have a reserve price for it which I WILL NOT GO BELOW.
Now, I know it's not a numbers matching Chevelle SS, but I want to restomod it futher down the line sometime with all the "goodies". Do you guys think it is a reasonable deal? I have requested more info from the dealer and am waiting their reply. THANKS for your input!!!!

It's a nice looking car, but if you are going to modify it later I think its too much to pay. You will be in it for more than its worth after the mods in my opinion.

Seems like a lot of $$ for what you get.

If you have the time and space find one that is ready for a resto and build to suit. But I think that if you are just gonna mod it out that's alot of green.

Thumbs up

That's what I was thinking myself.
But, I would like something I can kinda cruise around once in a great while, be dependable and later save up to build the restomod. I do appreciate the comments and opinion guys. THANKS GUYS!!!
