Default Ever sell a car to someone in Canada?

Let me know... This place seems to be able to handle the exportation, but I'm looking for anyone to verify their authenticity. What I don't get is if the buyer pays them or the seller directly...

Thanks,

I think "FUEL" was sold to a member in Canada: member's board name is "DOOM" I think. Hope it points you in the right direction because I'm going off of memory of the documented road trip back home.

FUeL was sold to Monza and is currently terrorizing the streets here in Calgary.

You should have no issues selling into Canada - especially as the seller. Importation is very simple for classic cars and usually is entirely the responsibility of the buyer. I imported my last two '67s myself and don't know anyone who has needed or used a third party. They have always struck me as a bit of a gimmic and waste of money. If that is the direction that you or your buyer wants to go, I would insist that they pay all the fees and minimize your exposure.

If you have any specific questions or concerns, feel free to PM me directly.

I sold a car to someone in Canada this year, as easy as selling to someone domestic. Purchaser handled everything other than faxing him title and bill of sale once the money was wired and confirmed. His carrier picked up - No problems.

ive imported alot of cars from the states into canada. as a seller all you need to provide the buyer is the title, and a bill of sale.it is the buyers responsibility to handle the rest. at that point as an american seller you have the same amount of work to do as if you were selling to an american.I wouldnt bother trying to do their export for them but assist in faxing documents etc. just ask them for cash or a wire transfer, or a Us postal money order.Alot of american banks are holding canadian drafts and certified cheques for upto a month now.and dont let the car leave you until you have verified funds.
