Default What I do in my spare time !

Here is a car I picked up some time ago . Some of you may remeber my 98 Z28 with the turbo I had in Tenn at RTTH3. Shortly after that I traded the car for something more serious(at least chassis wise) . This car used to be Nineballs car back in the day . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pI7HIAzTRJo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwmZhP92VbU

I took this car and added a 200 hit of Juice to it and went 9.87 @ 137 with it. This was a bone stock LS1 shortblock with a Futural F11 cam, LS6 intake stock TB and a glide.

I then found a great deal on a 370 IRON block , I basically swapped the shortblock and that was it. I have a 250 hit on it now, and we are still tunning. I just went my best at a 9.55 @140 with the car last week. It 60fts 1.37's and has been a 1.34 with the front end in the sky . Had to let off as it was going left. 1/8 miles are 6.0 now but I am trying for 5.80's or so. Also 8.80's-8.90's

I am changing the gears this week some evening, adding a FAST 90/90 set up to it and gonna hit it with 300 of NOS. I am using part I have had and spending very little money on basic stuff. Motor will take a 400 hit.

Right now it leaves on the footbrake and on a 250 hit off the line. The car and chassis are great as the 250 hit on the tree feels to soft. !
This isnt to bad basically for a 2500hd engine, LS6 heads and a shot of spray .

Anyway here are some Videos.
I will post up a customers 03 Cobra we did with a bone stock engine with a 76 GTS turbo , C4 and slicks go 9.66 @ 143 driven there.
I'll have to load that video tomorrow.

Hope this drag racing stuff doesnt offend anyone !
