Default Wonder why GM doesn't.....

Have a specific division that just builds modern versions of it's most popular cars like: (my list)

55 and 57 Chevrolets.
67 Corvettes (vert and coupe)
66-67 Nova's (and have a convertible version)
66-67 Chevelles
70 Chevelles
69 Camaros (of course)

I am listing my favorites, of course. I know there will be those that speak of cost prohibitiveness (Dang big word there). But, these cars have been thought out and perfected by the secondary market. With all the boomers with dough, seems like they could profit from this.

I am not really sold on the new Transformer Camaro yet. I have seen and driven a new SRT8 Challenger. Shelby Cobra. I think Charlie stated in one thread that he was invited to see the new Camaro back when. The biggest complaint was that it did not look like the 69 Camaro enough. Ya know what I like about the Challenger? It looks like the 70 Challenger! Mustang? Same.

Remember, we are talking about one of the biggest Corps in the world.

Modern motors, brakes, wiring, etc. Titled as cars in their perspective years. Shelby did it.

What do you think?

Because we car enthusiasts make up only a tiny percentage of vehicle buyers. They prefer to cater to the masses, and that isn't us.
