more turbo ?s 500-550rwhp???
ok, i asked the last question about what it felt like, got my answer from a car making like 800rwhp, a very radical build. so here is what im gathering, based on my mods, a lot of chassis and suspension mods, my cars insanity limit should be right at 500-550rwhp, at up past 600 i think it will be plain out of control, so, im trying to decide how to build for that without having to do some crazy de-tuning, you know, so that it works like it wants too. and i want this in pump, medium boost, say 12-13psi. so im thinkin, 12-13 pounds, 93 octane, i could drop the 408 stroker, just do a .030 over 360, so 366, and run 10-12 pounds on twin to4-e , .57 a/r, q-trim wheel, and a 2 in, one out intercooler front mounted, with a blow thru set up car, and some decent head work, 2.02/ 1.6 valve, that standard, should be good for 500rwhp no problem. then, if im feeling froggy, dyno day or drag or whatever, 18-19 pounds and c16 should put me at 750-800rwhp? sound about right? nice long powerband, and with a tk0-600 and a 3.55 rear end, 17inch wheels, 180 mph and decently long gears, 1st is gonna be nothing but smoke, 2nd about the same, 3rd should catch and highway runs should be nooo problem. or is my lack of experience with forced induction small blocks showing and realistically im not going to go anywhere straight?

Sounds pretty much about right. This is in a Barracuda, right? Should smoke all gears. (We could only wish). I have a Desktop Dyno program around here somewhere, I'll try and find it and run some numbers. I think my 355 Olds setup with one supercharger was estimated right at 650-700hp.

Pretty easy to reach 500-550 rwhp with the properly sized turbo and decent small block. I'm using this in my current car to allow wot runs:

Control? Does that have something to do with this "traction" thing I keep hearing about? What crazy language is this?

sounds to me like you have done a great deal of research, and you are on the right path for your goals. The only draw back on the hp number's is block strength. Most stock blocks can only handle up to 600hp on small blocks. I know that with ford small block, those that are able to push upwards of 550hp, end up splitting their blocks, even with a main girdle.
May want look at the cost of a strong block, like man o war or dart.....

well, being a dodge its a little hard. not a bunch of aftermarket block choices like you bow tie guys have. However, mopar did get it right with the 1st runs of the 360 blocks, which i have, and is completely different than the newer "magnum" motors seen in the trucks. Very thick walls, people who drag race small block mopars, and use the older blocks, go .080 over and race again and again. I can't beleive i never thought of the race logic system though, may not be a bad idea, but you put into words what i want, i want to make WOT runs and stay straight, i mean, maybe im better off going for a n/a 408 stroker. i was hoping i could kill the car a little with gearing. and yes, this is an e-body im building. whether or not cuda, not sure, i have a cuda and a challenger body, not sure which ill use, or if ill use either one, we shall see. but i dont like starting things without a game plan, and the plan is all complete with the exception of the motor. like i said, under 45mph, all smoke, thats cool, but i dont want to be all over at 80mph, just not safe, that being said, this car is actually going to have IRS. and ill take all my datsun/triumph road racing stuff to the table to get it dialed in. but yah, im thinkin drop the extra cubes.. cuz i dont need them, and thats more money saved since i wont have to clearance out the bottom of the cylinders, leave it a 365 and change, and pop those two turbo's on. Oz cheek gave me the specs on the turbo's for what i wanted, and he has been there/ done that with FI v8s.

I may use that racelogic system, that may be my answer, use it on supras here all the time, i cant believe i didnt think to use it on this. i still may just use the d1-sc too, saving money is good, and i think it would still PLENTY of power for me.

well, ive known a bunch of local e-body guys, ive loved these cars since forever, i picked both of these up, and actually had a third running 440 4 speed challenger (now sold) before mopar prices went through the roof, the cuda is actually a originally a b5 blue slant six car, converted to a 440, its auto, the other is a rough 74 challenger, black, 383, beyond that, all base.ill probably use the cuda.. i like it better..
