Default alternative to re-polishing aluminum

I know nobody here is interested in chrome, but it this does get some ideas flowing.

How about putting this over polished aluminum, that way I don'd have to keep re-polishing.

I have personally sprayed that stuff and all though it is really nice(there are not too many chrome paints out there that are good and so far this is by far the best) it is not nearly as nice as polished aluminum. if you hate polishing, i cant blame you, there are a couple air-dry clear coats out there that you can spray over polished aluminum and it will keep your wheels looking nice. it will dull the polish a tiny bit, but not really even enough to notice. i cant think of the name of the company that makes it, but i can try to get it at work tomorrow.

Mick just take it to a real chrome shop and have it done. Since it's already polished it shouldn't take long and will look killer!!!

Also the painted chrome works great for parts that can't be chromed like wood, plastic, etc. Stay out of the engine bay with it most of them only like 200 degrees then they discolor and stay de-laminating.

I did the powder coat clear for polish and it turned the stacks on my Kinsler unit kinda cloudy. Plus the clear was easier to scratch then the polished aluminum. So I sent them to Sherms last week.
