Default Car Covers

Hey guys, what the best car cover out there, I really liked the back east covers but I think they went out of business. Looking for my truck, something with flannel on the inside and weather proof on the out side.

You are not going to find a flannel inside "weatherproof" cover. The flannel lined covers are indoor covers only. The next best thing IMHO is the California Car Cover Co. NOAH cover. I've had mine for years, soft on the inside and deals with the weather (when it was outside) very well.

I ordered a Cover King Silver Guard plus, and had them add the fleece liner. It was "custom made" for my 82 Vette, is basically waterproof and provides a nice soft liner. IMO, its better than the Noah or Evolution (I've had one of each). I paid 170$ at Advance Auto and it took about 2 weeks to get in, hope this helps. Ron

No breathable cover is WATERPROOF, they are weatherproof. So under heavy long term rain the cover/car will get wet. How does the fleece hold up? Wouldn't it start to leave lint behind?

Right... weatherproof. So far so good. I've only had it for a couple months. I'm pretty impressed with it so far, especially at that price point. I've had the Noah/Evolution totally breakdown after about two years, which is all you can really expect.

Edit: Bigtyme69, you might check with cover king because I remember you could add the fleece liner to many of their covers.

.

Not true, the warranty is for 5 years. I had 2 Noahs replaced for free at the 4 year mark because of some "chalking" left behind after heavy rain. The cause was UV break down, but CCC mstands behind their product. Matter a fact my dad just had his Stormweave replaced by them too.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to try to find my receipt on the Noah, which the inner portion has shedded off probably due to UV like you said...

Yeah, look for it. They will make good on it. UV and pollution are KILLERS for the covers that stay outside.
