Default Chris Alston G bars are coming. Pre orders are being accepted!

I got permission today to accept pre orders and feedback for the all new Chris Alston G bar, G Link and G billet triangle 4 link rear suspension kits. The kits are going to come in 3 variations,

The entry level kit and probably most popular kit the G Bar using urethane bushings, steel arm kit that replaces the previous G bar. This kit is probably the most street friendly. Chris Alston says this kit best used in applications under 500HP. The G bar is priced at $1739 with coil over Vari Shocks, add $200 for double adjustable shocks. There is a Air Spring option for a additional $400. There are 2 optional Anti Roll bars for the G bar. Either a sliding link adjustable bar for $359,or a trick splinded-end bar with hot looking aluminum arms for $479

Base G Bar kit with poly bushings

The next level up is the G link using Pivot balls / steel arms and has the added feature of adjustable lower arms. Chris Alston says this kit is probably best for higher horse applications that will be dead hooking at the dragstrip, or applications that can take advantage of added adjustability. The G link is priced at $2049 with coil over Vari Shocks, add $200 for double adjustable shocks. There is a Air Spring option for a additional $450. There are 2 optional Anti Roll bars for the G bar. Either a sliding link adjustable bar for $359, or a trick splinded-end bar with hot looking aluminum arms for $479

G Link with pivot balls and adjustable arms

For the Ultimate in Performance and pure bling, there is the G Billet using Pivot balls and Aluminum I beam. Chris Alston says this kit is suited for street or racing, and looks killer doing it. The G Billet is priced at $2249 with coil over Vari Shocks, add $200 for double adjustable shocks. There is a Air Spring option for a additional $450. There are 2 optional Anti Roll bars for the G bar. Either a sliding link adjustable bar for $359, or a trick splinded-end bar with hot looking aluminum arms for $479

The G Billet with Splined-end sway bar option

Also available are Bolt in Fabricated 9” housings that can be built to any length within reason. Add back bracing and lower sway bar mounts for a truly trick looking bullet proof set up. Axle housing start at $989

well i guess i need to save a few more pennies . with 750 hp i guess i will need option 3 . but then again this car will never have slicks on it or proably be at the track . alstons shop is just down the road from me a few miles.
ok well we will order one of theese for my big block car soon maybe a month or 2. i can save on shipping as they do release parts right out the door at alston.

Frank:

I just want to confirm the dimensions before I order my g-bar and FAB 9 housing. I have a 69 Camaro with DSE mini tubs and thinking about going with a 55” rear, 5.5" backspace on an 11" wheel and 13” Wilwood disk breaks. Will this work?

Thanks - Mark

Frank,

What is the expected turn around time for ordering? I am interested in the G billet with splined sway bar. I am 4 to 6 weeks from installing a rear suspension. If i order now, will i have to wait longer?

Thank,
Jim
