Default Slow-Touring - Kelle's 1954 Chevy Shop Truck

This is kind of the polar opposite of Eckerts '52 Chevy Truck!

Kelle's been building a '54 Chevy shop truck... just a low-buck farm truck to haul parts around and food for her animals. The mission was to tune up the 235 inline 6, upgrade the safety items - brakes, wiring, bumpers, etc., and to do a couple cool mods like painted steelies and a Mexican blanket interior. It came out pretty slick, and now we can't get her out of it! Call it "Slow-Touring!"

What a cool ride ! All it needs is a V8TV logo airbrushed into the doors with a patenia (sp ?) treatment to match the exterior. Way cool !

Gunna have to spend more money on it... It's got a V8TV logo on the grille but a 6 under the hood.

Seriously those trucks are are growing on me.

Yeah, that's a topic over here. To tell you the truth, the little 235 6 with the 3-speed and a 3:90 gear gets this truck up to about 50 mph before it sounds like the valves are all going to come through the hood, and you're white-knuckling the wheel through turns at speeds over 40. I'm not sure it needs any more power!

That thing is awesome! I used to have a 1961 International a few years back. It was about the same color as that 52, rust and all. Thanks for sharing that!
