89 Mustang LX 5.0

A friend of mine is selling this car. Great shape and very well kept.

I've decided to sell my wife's 89 LX 5.0 that she bought new. This car is a 25th anniversary edition. Back in 03 I did a mild restoration / update to this car. Updates include, Motorsport 13” front rotors with PBR Cobra R 4 wheel disc brakes/ 5 lug conversion. 3.73's gears and rear overhaul, flowmaster cat back with polished Stainless tips, 5 spoke Bullitt wheels, Cervini's ram air hood, Cobra rear spoiler and grille filler and Steeda upper strut mounts. The car was stripped to bare metal, blocked and painted apart and re-assembled in base/clear. I spent 40hrs alone on the Cervini’s hood to create the effect that the hood is steel. The restoration took me about a year to do. A/C system has had most major components replaced and blows cold. I have a mountain of Ford receipts from the past 18 years. The engine is bone stock and has never had a valve cover off of it. The interior is all original and in very nice condition. Gray cloth seats with gray carpet. I even have the Cobra donut spare in the truck. My wife drove this car every day until last year. AOD transmission. Pictures of this car don't even begin to do it justice. I don't hesitate to drive this car ANYWHERE. It was built to be dependable and fun, it never disappoints. Could be the perfect car for the guy who has a nice stroker or supercharged engine that wants to auto cross or street race. Mileage is 92k. Never wrecked, raced or abused.
