I pity you at car shows and stop lights. You are going to get sick of explaining the meaning. I don't know if I could keep from asking.

Default In case some of you forgot

Since I am from the South and never lived anywhere but the South, I will say it is a Southern saying.

When describing a lot of anything, the saying goes, "you can't swing a dead cat with out hitting _____. You fill in the blank

When we would go to car shows, we would always ask "what car is going to be the dead cat this year?" There was always some brand or style of car that was about every 5th car you saw.

So when I started doing my pro-tour 69 Camaro, It became the "dead cat."

You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a pro-tour 69 Camaro.

You may as well print that explanation on fliers and hand them out at stoplights when people ask... it's going to be quicker that way!

Great looking car, man!

I am lucky because you can swing a a pole to about San Diego without hitting one here.
