I love the concept of the car, I can't stand the rake on the model's ride height.

Hi guys,

It is Mike from Time Machines. We are building the actual car and its name is Hemi X. It will not have that rake on it at all. It will not even have leaf springs on it. It will be a full four bar with coilover deal complete with huge tubs. The stance will be just like John's rendering. It has to have it. This one will be one the best mopars we have ever built. It's getting a hemi but not a 426. More to follow in the months ahead. I know John is working on more artwork too. We both will keep you posted.

Thanks
Mike

Hey guys, just so everybody knows, the rake is improved for production. The car's ride height was supposed to be improved in the photo leveling it out a little more so that it would more accurately depict the correct production ride height. The front will probably be about 1mm higher, while the rear will come down about 2mm. 1:1 scale it just about translates to a 1" raise in the front and a 2" drop rear. The back will still rake up a little but not dramatically as shown in the pic.
Streetfighter X was inspired by the Hemi X car. Many of our collectors asked us if we'd produce an "X" car so we did. It's a pretty sweet model. The Nascar-inspired spoilers and 3-piece wheels really give the B-body an aggresive look, the 426 Hemi is topped off with a carbon fiber air cleaner assembly, there's a functional lower K-member that is absolutely sick, dumped exhaust, and the interior is cleaned up with racing seats/belts, and satin aluminum trim panels instead of woodgrain. Rounding it out are metal inlet "X" emblems. The front tubular K-member really is neat.
