Default Sheet Metal Quality?

I have a 69 Camaro I need multiple replacement panels. There are many different sources to buy from who has the best quality(not worried about price too much) for the following panels?

partial quater panels
outter rear wheel tubs
passenger side front floorboard
drivers side rear floorboard
total front clip

Thank's for the help.

Original or aftermarket? Most would say Goodmark panels are some of the best in the aftermarket for the $$$. There are some USA stamped pieces out there. GM and NOS are hard to come by. For aftermarket, check out any of the major suppliers http://www.yearone.com, http://www.classicindustries.com, http://www.firstgen.com, etc. They all carry pretty much the same items.

Also, for floors, you can't beat the one-piece goodmark unit for a clean job. I'm sure others will chime in on this- Good luck, Ron

DO NOT do partial quarters. Is a HUGE deduct in value, and the increased labor to finish them is more then the additional cost for full repro factory style quarters. As for quality, they all suck equally, ALL OF THEM! No matter who makes, them, no matter where they are made! But they are usable and better then nothing. I would look for a source close to you as shipping is expensive. If you can pick the up your way ahead.

Call Brian at CPU Car Parts. He had the best pricing on sheetmetal that I found.

anytime you can get usa made panels, do it!!! i ran into some pretty shotty outer rockers and rear trunk dropoffs that were tiawan!! i ended up rebuying american made and the difference was unbelievable, no only in stamping quality, but also in metal thickness!!!deffinitally buy american outer rear inner fenders also.. the goodmark and tiawans suck!!! oh yeah, also .. the full floor is a definite yes,, i installed one on ,my car, fits great and a lot easier to install than butt welding in patch panels!!!!!

I would agree on all the previous posts . I would only do full otrs. As far as nos parts they are great if you can find them but they are getting hard to find and very pricey. It depends on if your restoring a all original copo,z28 your in your best interest to put as much nos stuff as you can find to keep the value of car up. I have installed dynacorn 1-piece trunk floor, complete floor, upper cowl, sidecowls and fit hasn't been that bad. You'll need to do some trimming to make fit but that comes with the job.I've also used some of the usa inner+outer rear wheelhouses ,rockers, upper dash from heartbeatcity and they are really nice .Good Luck let us know how you make out. Joe
