Default Fuel line facts for LS7

Hello ,

What is the needed fuel line size for LS7 . Is 10mm - 3/8" inside diameter of the pipe enough ??

Default I do not have an LS7

But I find most people, myself included, are running a AN -8 from the tank to the fuel rail on LS motors.

If you are running a return system at the fuel rail back to the tank...AN -6.

I have mine dead headed at the fuel rails, so I have -8 to the rail. The regulator is next to the tank and I am running a -6 back into the tank.

Here is a shot...although I have since changed all lines to the high dollar stuff to eliminate the gas smell

-8 AN means 8/16"..... 1/2" inch ID.

Yea, I'm running 8AN to the fuel rail with my regulator back by the tank. I return to the tank with a 6AN.

No issues at all.

In the AN spec, the - number indicates the number of 16ths of an inch the ID of the hose is. so a -6 is 6/16" or 3/8" and the -8 is 8/16" or 1/2"

One more question, can i just use the stock vette regulator and filter and run just one line to the stock fuel rail ?
