Klaus,

A few of my favorites:

Really like Wizards Shine master polish and breathable sealant they also have a quick detailer called mist n shine

3M final glaze(06066) also works nice and can be applied by hand with soft cotton buffing towel

Meguires also has some nice products, I occasionally use the quick detailer #32

Really high on the wizards stuff at the moment, BTW there billet alluminum polish called Metal Polish is awesome.

Im using these products on fresh paint never been paste waxed, my car does not get driven daiy and covered in the garage. If your looking for UV protection or rain protection perhaps a carnauba based wax may be better suited.

Check out www.Griotsgarage.com

You won't believe all the things they make that I didn't even know existed. Great service, great products and they even sell a mini buffer and glaze kit that you can use yourself without swirling your paint all up. At car shows, they demonstrate it on black rental cars and let everyone try it and the thing looks like liquid glass by the end of the weekend.
