Default Euro 55 Chevy Project Update

Well, this winter I'm diving into the installation of a Street & Performance Multi-Port F.I. system. At this point, I'm just trial fitting the manifold on my ZZ3 engine...so far so good but there is not much room for the distributor to slide in with the tall hi-rise design!

I'm also started to design the fuel delivery system with a Rock Valley SS tank with internal pump, a pair of SS fuel lines and the necessary AN fittings and steel braided hoses....pricey!! But this should bring the car into the 21st Century with better performance and MPG not to mention getting rid of that gas smell in the garage. After installing an LS1/6 Speed in my 69 Camaro and driving it around I hope to never have a carb on a car again!

I recently had the car painted a Porsche Titanium Metallic and I finally got all the trim back on the car (all stainless is brushed or powder coated silver). I still have some door / rear panel interior work to do after installing a complete BMW 3-series "M" leather interior this past summer.

Here's a few pictures of the latest:

Great car, the only thing that I would suggest is that everything under the hood should be brushed or powdercoated like the exteroir, nothing shiney.

Default Chuck good to see and update and you posting

I need to drive down and come see your cars. Give me a buzz at 704-564-8577 and lets set up a time.

I know what you mean on the gas smell. I recently changed out all of my steel braided line for the $38 a foot nylon stuff with the teflon liner. No gas smell but dang that stuff was high! Not sure if you have started bending that stainless, it is some tough stuff and work hardens after the first bend. If you have not bent it before, may I suggest bend your lines out of the regular stuff first and use those as a pattern to do the stainless.

Your 55 looks fantastic! I am ready for an up close look.
